Do I Need Police Clearance To Renew My Visa?
I am in the process of renewing my two-year South African Relative’s Visa, which expires at the end of May. I am originally from the UK.
I was required to submit both UK and South African police clearance documents for my original Relative’s Visa application two years ago. As I am simply now renewing/extending my Relative’s Visa for a further two years and am not changing its conditions, is it necessary to obtain UK police clearance again this time around?

Police Clearance Requirements
You only need a police clearance certificate from countries you have lived in for over a year. As you have not been back to the UK (except on holiday) you do not need another police certificate.
