I have a British passport and went to the US in 2015 on an ESTA. Upon arrival I was questioned by immigration because I’d forgotten about a visa that got denied in 2003 on my old South African passport. I didn’t mention it when applying for my ESTA online as I’d honestly forgotten.
They told me that if I came back to the US I’d need to make an appointment at the embassy. Does this mean I need to apply for an actual visa and pay the visa fee or just make an appointment to see someone?
Any advice would be appreciated!
